All about the job

This dynamic role will allow you to apply your accounting knowledge across a wide range of areas, as you provide backup to a number of roles and teams. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, results-driven Accountant.

You’ll provide support and back up to the Finance team across a range of accounting areas with a particular focus on work-in-progress, assets, revaluations and supporting external audit.

This is a part-time (20 hours per week) 12-month fixed term role.

You will be responsible for: 

  • reconciling and reviewing work in progress
  • processing fixed asset transactions including additions, disposals, depreciation and revaluations
  • supporting our external audit processes
  • contributing towards monthly financial reporting and the preparation of the annual report
  • analysing data and to contributing to relevant financial discussions

All about you

You’ll be a hands-on, results-driven Accountant. You’ll need to show us that you:

  • are a Chartered Accountant or a Certified Practicing Accountant (or working towards one of these) or
  • have some experience working in a financial accountant role for a medium to large sized organisation
  • enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • are deadline and delivery conscious and have excellent problem resolution skills
  • apply strong attention to detail to your work
  • have excellent communication and organisational skills
