About the role
Arena Fitness Centre is a gym inside Te Rauparaha Arena complex, with access to the Gym, Pool, Les Mills Group Fitness classes, qualified trainers and an atmosphere that is welcoming and friendly.
You’ll be part of creating a fantastic customer experience ensuring they get the most out of their membership.
You will be responsible for:
- minding our front desk and assisting gym members with enquiries
- basic sales of memberships
- assisting in the achievement of excellent customer experience for all members
- accurately maintain the administrative function for the Arena gym
- showing potential members around the facility
- debt recovery
About you
You’ll be customer focused, friendly and approachable. You’ll be able to converse with people from all works of life, and ensure they receive a high standard of service and confidentiality.
You’ll need to show us that you:
- have previous experience working in a customer facing environment
- put customer service at the heart of everything you do
- enjoy working in a team environment
- can work systematically
- have a passion for helping others
- can work the agreed shifts
